Musashino Art University actively develops collaborations in various forms with business entities, local governments, and other groups. In modern society, what roles art universities can play in society and how colleges specializing in fields such as art, design, architecture and imaging arts can contribute through such research collaborations have been questioned.

We firmly believe that such collaborative activities serve as vital opportunities to cultivate wider perspectives as well as to develop the students’practical abilities.
