研究テーマ

現代美術におけるプロジェクト型の作品、及びそのアーカイブについての研究。

教育研究実績

言葉やイメージといった共通認識の中に生じるズレをテーマに自然体でゆるやかな手法を使って、看板をモチーフとした作品をはじめ、パフォーマンス、映像、インスタレーションなど、形式を特定せず制作を展開している。2006年末より「Nadegata Instant Party」を結成し、ユニットとしても活動。2007年末より「遊戯室 (中﨑 透＋遠藤水城)」を設立し、運営に携わる (～2021年)。2011年より「プロジェクトFUKUSHIMA!」に参加、主に美術部門のディレクションを担当。近年の主な展覧会に『越後妻有 大地の芸術祭 2024』(新潟、2024年)、個展『FICTION TRAVELER』水戸芸術館現代美術ギャラリー (茨城、2022年) など。2023年、芸術選奨新人賞受賞。

Based on the theme of the gaps that occur in common understanding such as words and images, he uses a natural and gentle method to create works with signboards as motifs, as well as performances, videos, and installations, without specifying any format. At the end of 2006, he is also active as an artits’ unit "Nadegata Instant Party." Since the end of 2007, he has established and been involved in the management of "PLAYROOM (Tohru Nakazaki + Mizuki Endo)" (-2021). Participated in "Project FUKUSHIMA!" since 2011, mainly in charge of direction of the art department. Major exhibitions in recent years include "Echigo-Tsumari Art Festival 2024" (Niigata, 2024) and solo exhibition "FICTION TRAVELER" at Art Tower Mito Contemporary Art Gallery (Ibaraki, 2022). A 2023 recipient of the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology’s Art Encouragement Prize for New Artists.
