As the first term of the current President, Prof. Tadanori Nagasawa, will expire on March 31, 2019, an election was held to select the President for the next term. Prof. Nagasawa was re-elected President of Musashino Art University, and he has been appointed as the President-Designate at a council meeting held on December 19, 2018. He will serve a second 4-year term starting April 1, 2019.
