Musashino Art University is open to international students from all over the world. Please note the following if you are a prospective student;

1. You should be fluent in writing, reading and speaking Japanese since all classes, seminars and exams are conducted solely in Japanese. At the very least you are required to understand sufficiently our application guidebook written in Japanese.

2. You should finalize your financial arrangements prior to entering Musashino Art University. International students are eligible to apply for scholarships; however, not all applicants can receive such financial assistance.

3. We do not have any non-degree courses or short-term programs.

4. We do not accept any research students except for Japanese Government Scholarship (called the MEXT scholarship) recipients. If you are interested in the MEXT Scholarship, please refer to the Scholarships section below.
