学位：修士（工学）

研究テーマ

「ロボティクスで、世界をユカイに。」というビジョンのもと、家庭向けロボット製品を数多く手がける。

東京大学在学中にチームラボを設立、CTOに就任。その後、ピクシブのCTOを務めたのち、ロボティクスベンチャー「ユカイ工学」を設立（現代表取締役）。'15年よりグッドデザイン賞審査委員。'21年より本学教授。

家族をつなぐコミュニケーションロボット「BOCCO」、共感するファミリーロボット「BOCCO emo」、しっぽのついたクッション型セラピーロボット「Qoobo」、小さなしっぽクッション「Petit Qoobo」エデュケーションシリーズkurikit「ユカイな生きものロボットキット」などを発表。

Established teamLab while attending the University of Tokyo and became CTO. After that, I served as CTO of Pixiv, and founded the robotics venture “Yukai Engineering.” With the vision of “Robotics for Fun Living,” they work on a number of household robot products. Since 2015, I have been a member of the Good Design Award Jury, and became a professor at Musashino Art University in 2021.
Released “BOCCO” the communication robot that connects families, sympathetic family robot “BOCCO emo,” therapeutic cushion robot with a tail “Qoobo,” petit size tailed cushion “Petit Qoobo,” education series kurikit “create-a-critter robot kit,” and more.
