武蔵野美術大学工芸工業デザイン学科ID専攻卒業（学士）
研究テーマ: 工業デザイン全般。

'93年本学ID専攻を卒業後、（株）東芝に入社。同社デザインセンターで10年間、産業情報機器、映像情報機器を中心とした製品デザインと先行開発を担当。また、製品開発の効率化と品質向上を図る3D-CADのデザイン分野への導入についても研究を行う。
'02年、シナジーデザインを設立。様々な製品開発を行う。特に、東芝電池株式会社と協同で開発を行ったLEDライトは、'05年グッドデザイン賞の金賞と'06年レッドドット賞（ドイツ）受賞。
'06年、専任講師に着任。これまで以下の協力企業との産学協同研究により、実践的な指導を行っている。（株）東芝デザインセンター '06年、LG電子株式会社 '07年、NIKE,INC. '07年、日本メディックス '07年、セイコーエプソン株式会社 '08年、イージークラフトワークス '08年。

After graduating from this university's Department of Industrial, Interior and Craft Design, I worked for Toshiba Design Center for 10 years and now I mainly teach product design.
At Toshiba Design Center, I was primarily involved in product design of computers and personal digital assistants for both consumer and commercial use, as well as advanced design. Digital tools have become more prevalent of late, so I teach extensively in the field of 3D-CAD and CG.
I have recently become interested in researching the relationship between products and human senses and actions, making interactive prototypes using Arduino and other microcomputers. At the same time, I have been studying how to make bags from leather and fabric. In the future, I would like to link these studies into a new product domain that blends handmade items with digital technology.
