映像学科でメディア・アートを専攻する学生有志による展示です。

コンセプト
「墓というHD（ハードディスク）」

霊や魂というものは本当に在るのか無いのか分からないが、それを保存する墓は間違いなく墓地という領域を消費し、土地を必要とする。Youtubeに何気なくアップロードした動画も、Googleの広大なデータセンターの一部を消費する。
霊もデータも何かしらの「物質」を消費し、それを有限な資源を共有する運命にある。
データやインターネットの世界はまだしも、墓地は不足するという問題が既に起こっている。
そこには、高齢化社会や情報化社会という事情だけでなく、人間やその道具が解釈しやすい方法で保存しているという、知覚のエゴイズムが転がっている様に思える。

「HD as a tombstone」

It is difficult to distinguish the existence of spirits and souls, but the presence of tombstones are definite. Datas uploaded into the internet are stored into a solid super computer.
As spirits depart from its body, tombstones grow in number inhabiting the surface of the earth. It could be said that the same happens to digital data.
Not only is this a matter of the aging society, nor of the information‐oriented society, but more about how humans select their own methods for using tools, and the egoism of knowledge.
