'80年代初頭より活動を開始以降、島田画廊、双ギャラリー、村松画廊などの企画で個展を継続的に開催現在に至る。‘92年「現代美術への視点・形象のはざまに」東京国立近代美術館、'95年「現代美術の場と空間《やわらかく、重く》」埼玉県立近代美術館、「視ることのアレゴリー1995：絵画・彫刻の現在」セゾン美術館、'00年「越後妻有アートトリエンナーレ2000」「ART TODAY 2000」セゾン現代美術館、'01年「DOMANI・明日展」安田火災東郷青児美術館、「第19回現代日本彫刻展」宇部・山口、「ヴァイブレーション 結びあう知覚」宇都宮美術館、'15年「ぺこちゃん展」平塚市美術館、'17年「引込線 2017」所沢市ほかに出品。
'93年A.C.C.奨学金により渡米、'93年〈triangle artist workshop〉（ニューヨーク）に参加。'96-97年文化庁在外研修員としてアイルランドに滞在。'05年 タカシマヤ美術賞。
パブリックコレクションとして、東京国立近代美術館、ファーレ立川アート計画、港区彫刻のある街計画、東京国際フォーラム、ハービス大阪アートプロジェクト、ラグザ大阪アートプロジェクト、越後妻有アートトリエンナーレ2000、札幌ドームアートプロジェクト、宇都宮美術館、千葉市美術館、川崎医療福祉大学（岡山県）、愛知県美術館、名古屋市美術館など。

My specialty is the study and practice of the form of shapes in contemporary art. I have been staging exhibitions since 1982. In 1992, during my studies in New York and with assistance from the Asian Cultural Council, I participated in the Triangle Artist Workshop organized by Anthony Caro. In 1996–97 I studied in Ireland on a program of the Japanese Agency of Cultural Affairs to send Japanese artists overseas. Since the 1990s I have been engaged in creating artwork for urban spaces and public places. My main works include “Tap” by the Minamitakahama Canal in Minato-ku, Tokyo, and “Stachola” in Umeda, Osaka. My works are also displayed at such public collections as the Tokyo National Museum of Modern Art, Utsunomiya Museum of Art, Aichi Prefectural Museum of Art, and Chiba City Museum of Art. At MAU, I am in charge of practical seminars on space and form and practical guidance relating to metal, plastic, and compound materials in both basic general courses and special courses.
