手描きアニメーションにおける運動・変容・記憶の表現と、感覚や心理を映像化する方法の研究

デジタルハリウッド大学卒業後、フリーランスのアニメーターとして活動を開始。2013年より映像会社CAVIARに所属し､その後、クリエイティブチームmimoidを共同設立。
手描きアニメーションを中心に、ミュージックビデオ、広告映像、テレビアニメーション、短編作品など、国内外の幅広い映像制作に携わる。流動的な線や形態の変化、音楽と運動の関係を生かしながら、記憶や感覚、心理的な状態を映像として表現する方法を実践・探究している。

Masanobu Hiraoka is an animation director, artist, and educator whose practice explores movement, transformation, memory, and the emotional potential of hand-drawn images. After graduating from Digital Hollywood University, he began working independently in 2010 and joined CAVIAR in 2013. He is also a founding member of the creative house mimoid. His work spans original films, music videos, advertising, and television animation, including collaborations with musicians and international brands. In teaching, he encourages students to connect personal perception and experience with animation techniques, while developing the ability to move between individual artistic practice and collaborative production. He joined Musashino Art University as Associate Professor in 2026.
